I just purchased a jpc 2.0 xl swimmers cut. I was planning on getting a regular but found a great deal on a swimmers cut. Now I need to buy plates. I'm not in any hurry to buy plates, I'm willing to wait for a deal or for the right plates to be in stock. This is for a shtf kit/ shooting on the range.

Anybody here actually have the medium Crye JPC 2.0 Swimmers cut and tried inserting a medium SAPI plate in it? There are conflicting info on the dimensions the swimmers cut can take. From what I understand the carrier is actually pretty stretchy. If I could use the medium 10"x12" SAPI plate in Crye's JPC swimmers cut that would be pretty neat.

When it comes to carriers made for swimmers cut plates, you're limited to the Crye stuff or Beez Combat System's Aptum carrier, which I have not used.
