In 2004, the company’s hopes for its Scorpion MultiCam pattern suffered a setback when word came down that MultiCam had lost out to UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) in a bid to replace the American military’s standard-issue three-colour desert and woodland patterns. The cap I was shipping was Multicam OCP, which is not the same as Scorpion OCP, though they are similar. You can tell it is Multicam and not Scorpion three ways; 1) There is a seam in the front middle of the cap, 2) There are more brown colors and some straight lines, and 3) It says Multicam on the manufacturer tag.
